The public bin is a symbol in different levels.
_The circle and the square:
The dichotomy between the two solids strongly identifies the message: the circle is the harmony with the nature thus recycling, while the square identifies the rupture and symbolizes the waste undifferentiated collection. These two solids can be independent and separated, being clearly identifiable for the type of waste that which they contain. Their union, what we define the hug, symbolizes the care: Taking care of the environment through recycling.
_Shape Color Function:
For making it more identifiable the placement of the waste type inside the container, besides the applied graphics, we also used the color. The green color symbolizes in the collective imagination the nature and the environment therefore the recycling. The bin is volumetrically composed for allowing its use according to the need and the environment in which it is inserted. In fact it was specifically designed an raised option for allowing its placement in parks and gardens, or in situations where is necessary. The possibility of removing some of its parts can allows to reduce its volume according to the necessity or changing the function of some of its parts adding functions such as: ashtrays, flower pots, public fountain…
